The Context

The IAS platform brings together irrigation, weather, and agricultural datasets for exploration, visualization, and analysis. The design needed to support different user groups, including farmers, researchers, and policymakers, while making complex environmental information easier to understand and interact with.

The Opportunity

The design focused on turning complex irrigation and weather datasets into a clear, interactive experience. Users can explore information through structured data views, select relevant basins, datasets, and time periods, and access processed information for further analysis.

The Challenge

The platform needed to present multiple categories of irrigation and weather data without making the experience difficult to navigate. The design had to make dynamic selections, data exploration, visualization, and information access feel clear and intuitive while keeping complex agricultural information accessible to users with different needs.
